The Great Dragon is one of Beijing's finest luxury business hotels. It is located in the center of CBD, Chaoyang District, and adjacent to the Pacific Center shopping complex. The hotel is also located near dozens of embassies and consulates. Transportation to and from the airport is convenient with only one traffic light in your way. In addition, it takes only 10-minutes by taxi from the hotel to Tiananmen Square and the Wangfujing Business Zone.

Photonics Cluster (UK) is representing the UK within the global internationalisation initiative Asia Interprise supported by Asia Invest, a European Union Programme which provides funding for EU-Asian Events. Asia Interprise is a 2-day business matchmaking event where 30-35 European companies, including up to15 UK companies, will travel to China for individual business meetings with 60-70 Chinese optoelectronic and SSL-focussed companies.
The specific brokering meetings will be organised in a tried and tested manner, where interested companies will be required to register on-line and their profiles will appear on the Asia Interprise website. From these profiles, the participating companies will choose the European or Chinese companies that they would like to meet. Each company will have their own Chinese translation hostess and will receive an individual meeting agenda of approximately 10-12 meetings each lasting 25 minutes.
The lead project partner for the project is SPECTARIS e.V., Germany, with additional partners from UK, France, Italy, Estonia, Poland and, of course, China.
The brokering event will be organized alongside the hugely successful Trade Fair: ILOPE - www.ilope-expo.com/en/index.htm, ensuring the mission to China is one not to miss.
